On the mixed light issue, have you tried the Fuji Superia? That stuff plays nicely in mixed light, as it has the "4th layer technology. " I've been playing more with my 90mm (mine's the TE) with the M6. I 've almost always used it for a tele, and not a portrait lens, but your shot inspires me to get cracking with it some more.
