I have a 0.85 classic M6 and recently acquired a 0.58 M6 TTL, and I do not find the opposite shutter speeds a problem. Your milage may vary. Another thing to consider is that the 0.85 classic M6s are mildly collectible, because only about 3100 were produced, and so are more expensive on the second-hand market than other M6s. Finally, the TTL version has a superior meter display (with the red dot in the middle) and a more sensitive meter.
