That's a thought I have been having myself, but I want an estimate
before going that route.  If it turns out that the repair costs 50
percent less than going through the hassle of selling this one and
buying another, I think I'll have it repaired.

Why not just sell it, then buy a new Noctilux?  You'd only pay the
difference,
and that might well be no more than you're likely to have to pay for the
adjustment, particularly if they have to break one of the elements to
get into
it.
