Jo, Sorry if I keep repeating the following. IMHO, the last version of the 50/2 Summicron (#11826) is the worst regarding ergonomics. The sliding lens hood, the lack of focusing tab and the "so easy to lose" lens cap have discredited it in my eyes. The version just before (#11819), using exactly the same glasses, is much better. Its removable lens hood is more efficient because it offer a better protection against undesirable rays and shocks. Same problem for the last versions of the 50/1,4 and 50/1 , BTW. And its focusing tab ease the focusing when compared with the focusing ring. Here with the 50/1,4 and 50/1 it's less a problem, because their focusing rings are bigger. To bad for the RF users, it's that poor design Konica chose to copy for its Hexanon 50/2. Now, if I had to keep only one camera and one lens, it will be also a M6 but with a Summilux 50/1,4 (#11 114). Just my two cents, Lucien
