Subject: [Leica] Newer Software for LS-20?

I'm reading on the LUG about newer software for later models of Nikon
scanners, but I can't locate any upgrades for my Nikon Coolscan II. On
my pc upon opening the scanner itself, the version information reads
"Nikon Control App. 2.2.0.3000 Copyright 1995-1997". When accessing the
scan window, the bar at the top reads "Nikon COOLSCAN II 1.02 ID:4 HA:2"

I'd like to upgrade to anything better if it would make a difference in
scanning quality or ease of use. Any ideas? TIA.
