Two of his books, signed by his widow, are available. Also, we have during the same time a collection of about 20 Marilyn Monroe pictures by Magnum photographers on exhibit to coincide with the 40 th anniversary of The Misfits movie. The new book by Phaidon is available not signed or signed by Bruce Davidson, Inge Morath and Eliott Erwitt or signed by Inge Morath and Arthur Miller. Nest show opens Wednesday, 27 June (reception 5 to 8 pm) Erich Hartmann (Magnum): A Memorial Retrospective entitled "Where I Was: Personal Photographs" The eponymous book (hardcover) published in English from a printer in Salzburg has a preface by the both of us which we will be happy to sign and is also signed by his widow, Ruth Hartmann. You can get it at the exhibition (thru 11 August) or by email, fax, etc. (it's $50.) The gallery closes for the summer after the Hartmann show and opens after Labor Day (6 September opening - reception on 12 September from 6 to 8pm) with an exhibition of Marc Riboud (Magnum) in honor of his receiving Leica's Lifetime Achievement Award, which will be given to him on 12 September by Leica Camera AG at the gallery. There will also be a book-signing with Marc Riboud on saturday 8 September from 2 to 4, to sign his newly republished retrospective book. The book can also be sold via email, etc. but will not be ready until September for the signature. Remember that we have copies of Erwin Puts The Leica Lens Compendium ($64.95) and Hunecke and Eastland's books on the M6TTL ($42.95 and 39.95 respectively) + Eastland's M Compendium as well as the books by Bower and of course the handbooks for the R6, R7, R8 and about any other Leica /photography book you may want including Osterloh's Applied Leica Technique on the R cameras (one copy left at $175.)
