Subject: Re: [Leica] what and why you photograph

I photograph mostly travel and urban landscape type pictures. I dabbled in
natural landscape but found it to be not my thing. I've taken the occasional
good people shot, but am not consistent about it.

Lately, I've been doing a semi-regular project on the urban lanscape in my
current home, Pittsburgh. I like to play with how interesting light or form
makes the mundane look interesting. I love it when people look at the photos
and think that I took them somewhere else, because Pittsburgh can't look that
good.

I've also tried to dabble in candids and people pictures, but I'm not that good
at it. I have to practice more seriously, but don't really have the time to
work at it a lot, and work at the same time.

I've also been branching out into 120 film, with a Mamiya rangefinder (which,
along with the Hexar AF got me into viewfinder cameras). It's a challenge to
translate your vision into a new camera, so we'll see how it goes.

Pete
