Subject: [Leica] RUMOR: M63a?

Rumor flash: I stopped in a local shop to check out some of the latest
Cosina goodies when I got into a conversation with the salesman (owner of
the store, as it turns out) about Leica gear. He told me that there would
soon be an M6 with AE, motor, fast shutter (basically, a Hexar RF) and the
ability to work with or without batteries, like the new Nikon FM3a.

I told him rumors of an M6e or M7 have been around for ages, but he told me
he just heard this from a Leica rep.

Makes me wonder if they wouldn't do the same thing for the camera that
replaces the R6.2.

Dan

P.S. He also told me I should hold out for a Cosina 15 Heliar and 28/1.9
asph in "Bessa-T" mount (i.e., M bayonet). Makes sense! Hope it comes
true.
