multiple answers.  Thank you all.

So, here's a follow-up question:  Is there any reason not to buy an 18-year
old 80mm Summilux-R that appears to be in mint condition? Has the optical
formula changed in that time?

Let's see how long it takes to get an answer to this one.  GO .....
