I have several jupiter 8 lenses (I collect russian leica copies). These
lenses are prewar Carl Zeiss Sonnar copies. The lens is sharp but the one I
used gave a blueish colortone to the negatives. The lens is no match for a
summicron, but not bad for a 50mm lens. Don't forget a second hand summicron
will be at least 20 times more expensive.
