Use the Big Mac standard. The bean counters at McDonalds have laboured long to determine a basic price for their hamburgers in every country in the world. Gross national product, wages, taxes, etc are brought to a common denominator in the price of a Big Mac. Therefore, divide the local price of a Leica by the local price of a Big Mac and the result should be a constant number irrespective of country or government. This, of course, does not apply here in Sweden. Alan
