Just not at night with no tripod or other light extenders... like FLASH!!! (which at night would certainly be fine at a slower sync speed) my first was a Nikon F2 which synced at i think an 80th. No one though anything of it. We didn't think: "No we cant take flash pictures until they come out with the FM which syncs as 125th!"
