The Leica CL is a wonderful camera for your intended purpose but does have
some notable caveats. I recall processing two repairs in one month with both
units having fractured take-up spools. Another weakness has been the metering
semiphore which wasn't built to the same rugged standard as its big
brother-the Leica M-5. All this can probably be overlooked with careful
handling and an acceptance of its limited optical choices. If your intention
is for a real 'knockabout' unit you might consider the Canonet QL17-great
viewfinder, auto ex, a great lens (some say Summicron like in quality) and
its got that great 'quick load' feature. Cheers;-)
