no, you don't have to do anything, set the camera speed to flash mode,
adjust aperture as you desire and put the flash in ttl mode. you are done

i just got an sf-20 flash unit and am looking forward to doing some
ttl flash pictures with my m6 ttl.

the instruction manual is slightly confusing-i'm wondering: in ttl
mode, do i have to set an f-stop on the flash? or, when i change the
aperature on the lens, does the flash automatically adjust to it?
