My apologies Rob for being a little hard on you as there was more truth in what
you were saying than i thought.
But the grey card really throws me.
Opening up from a grey card reading incase the cat is real dark…?
why not just meter the cat!!!!!?


But if the cat is absorbing light like a sponge a reflective reading would show that.
A problem is that the originally guy said he was having problems with his black
cat picture but he didn't say what kind or be specific.
I'm willing to bet the cat was over exposed with flash.
Was this person looking at his negs at all?
all questions.

me I'm more likely to have an take an ambient reading than carry a grey card.
My grey cards are by the way who knows where.
We found out last year from Erwin they're not even grey! :)
I thing they're trouble with a capital G! And there's that very specific angle
issue i mentioned earlier this morning.
