(This is what Tom A. suggested in his assessment of the new lens.) It will most likely be a highly compact, good performer, not quite as sharp as the Leica ASPH 21 and one full stop slower, but also some $1700 less expensive. A great option if you don't wish to spend $2000 on a lens. Until recently I used the 25 Skopar on a IIIf and the results were very fine, even in 8x10 prints. I just sold it to buy the 21 Skopar for its wider view & rangefinder coupling. If the quality of the 21 is like that of the 25, it is going to be one solid lens. Guy
