My original point was that if the flash is not hooked properly up to any TTL
circuitry then who knows what the flash is trying to do when you have it set
to TTL? Hook up the flashes to the cameras they actually work with (or
cameras to the flashes they work with) and then you will be able to properly
compare recycle times between TTL and automatic.
