Do you think they would respond? I'm the one that posted a possible problem with my R8 concerning lockup and you suggested that it has the early electronic fault that some of these cameras had. My serial number is 2427171. Yet I only purchased this camera in March of this year. I also read that you had seen Leica shipping new cameras with earlier serial numbers to possibly confuse this issue. Is it possible that my camera say on a dealers shelf for 4-5 years? These cameras are from Portugal. 2475902 - I would think it was made in 1998/1999.
