This was my first wedding, but I have to say that shooting weddings and
all the nonsense that preceeds them fits right into what I do with a
camera...And the only way I'll do a wedding is the way I do any family
shoot - I'm there, I shoot what interests me photographically (and I
will include shots of anyone the bride or groom says they must have
shots of), I pick the best shots, scan and print them - and what I see
is what you get. No color. No groups. No poses. No BS. If someone
doesn't want to agree to that, that's a wedding I won't be shooting.
This first one I was hired by the bride and groom, and the bride's
mother hired a society wedding photographer.
