The production of Midlands M4 reached about 2500 units and the Wetzlar almost 2000 units. It is a reasonably rare camera in mint condition, but you do run in to the good users at decent prices. The Midland M4 is interesting as this was the camera that later became the M4-2 which in it's turn evolved to the M4-P and on to the M6. They are priced high in Japan and in Europe but tend to be more modestly overpriced in US/Canada. The box is a nice touch and it would be a simple sell. Buy it, if the price is reasonable, and swap it for a M6 or M6TTL or some desirable lens. Or just buy it and shoot away with it, it is not 'valuable" enough not to use it. Great camera with a 35/2 Tom A
