Subject: [Leica] Leica M2 self-timer

Does anyone know if it is unusual for a Leica M2 body serial number 1131xxx
(1965) to NOT have a self-timer. All the information I can find says the early
M2's didn't have a self-timer but the later ones do. One with this serial
number is surely a late one.
