Subject: [Leica] Re: Leica Quality versus Medium Format

I've been following this thread with some interest. I owned a Rollei TLR a
number of years ago. I found it to be a well made camera with an excellent
lens. (even though the Xenotar on mine had numerous coating marks)

What I have found interesting about the thread is the number of LUGers that
seem to LIKE the square format and reversed image. It was precisely these
things that caused me to sell the Rollei and switch to Koni-Omegas. These
clunky monsters served me well for many years (I still have one in the back
of the closet) but gave way to the Mamiya 7II. This is without a doubt the
best (for me) MF camera that I have ever used. (and that includes quite a
number of models over the years)
