Subject: RE: [Leica] Smudged white lettering on black M bodies

Pedro,
I don't think white lettering smudges normally. But, it may well be the
case that the lettering has been 'refreshed' by an amateur if the camera
was bought 'used'. A quick fix is to use white grease pencils and these
will smudge of course...

Anyone have a practical solution for cleaning up the not uncommon problem
of "smudged" white lettering on black M bodies? By "smudged" I mean the
problem of the white filler bleeding out of its proper engraved area.

Don't ask me how it happens in the first place; if I knew then I'd
probably also know the solution.

Muchas gracias,
Pedro
