I have all the lenses for the g system and they are all wonderful. I consider the g2 my point & shoot camera. When I want to snap pictures without doing a whole more than just composing! every camera system has its own set likes and dislikes, being a gadget man and loving this stuff; I don't discrimniate against any system and try to get my hands on as many as I can. it is fun. I have shot with mamiya 645, 6 and 7, lots of minolta mf & af , canon, nikon, leica m & r, contax g2, 35 and 645, pentax 6x7 and Hasselblad. all of these systems offer wonderfull lenses and bodies. The best part is holding them in you hand. I think i am going to swicth jobs and start working for a camera store, this way I can touch and paly with them all @ somebody elses expense!! I also thank ebay as it allows my to recycle. I could not have done it without ebay. - ------------------------------------------- Thanks, Mehrdad > -----Original Message----- > From: owner-leica-users@mejac.palo-alto.ca.us > [mailto:owner-leica-users@mejac.palo-alto.ca.us]On Behalf Of Félix López > de Maturana > Sent: Monday, March 19, 2001 6:35 AM > To: leica-users@mejac.palo-alto.ca.us > Subject: RE: [Leica] Newbie- 35 & 50 lens choices and M6 vs G2 > > > > Finally, are there any current or former Contax G users out there > who would > care to comment on switching to Leica, or adding Leica to their "arsenal." > > Hellow John, > > I am owner and user of a G2 kit with 21,28,45 and 90mm lenses and > as soon as > it arrives a 26mm Hologon, and from last Xmas I got a M6 with a 50mm > Summicron f:2.
