Thanks for reporting back. I appreciate you making the effort to run a
basic test and letting us know what you found.

I experienced a similar problem with my 35 Summicron ASPH, which is off at
infinity. I noticed it when shooting, but could see no problems in my negs
or prints, so I let it go. If I ever send the lens in for a service of any
kind, I'll have the repairman correct this problem. Until then, I'll live
with it as it doesn't seem to have any real-world effect.
