Subject: [Leica] Bessa M

I've heard from a camera dealer here that Cosina is to
release a Bessa M, with same viewfinder as Bessa R,
with framelines for 28, 35, 50, 75, 90 and 125.
Pricing "around the same, perhaps slightly more" than
the R. Release around the end of the year.

Planned new lenses are a 125 f4 and a 21 f4 --
rangefinder coupled -- in LTM or M. Although not sure
whether they'll be making the other LTM lenses also in
M-mount or just expecting users to use the adaptor.

Not sure how reliable this is, but the release is only
embargoed until Thursday and will be announced on
www.cosina.co.jp

Anyone else heard any gossip?
