Recieved a preview copy this morning.
It is staggering in its depth and originality.
Most Leica books of recent years have been either re-hashes of other works
(other camera 'manuals') or photographs of collections, lots of pictures.
This is a dense tome, 240 pages of fresh material, 10x8", with few
photographs but many diagrams, edited by Denis Laney who is currently
revising the Hove Pocket book.
It will take a long time to read so reviews will be a while in being formed
but rest assured there is little scope for being disappointed with this.
