I sold my 24 a couple of weeks ago. Magnificent lens. But I didn't use it
very much. I CANNOT STAND external viewfinders. And I found f/2.8 on an M
camera way too restricting. Everything else I have is f/1.4 . I use my M
camera in places where I cannot easily use my R camera or Hasselblad. I
will give the 28/2 a try when it becomes available here. I have it on
order. No external finder and a stop better than the 24.

I actually use my Hasselblad and 110/2 a lot in "street" situations. Not
exactly stealthy, but a super performer.

The three lenses that I currently use on my M6's are 35/1.4 ASPH, 50/1.4,
and 75/1.4 .

And I use the 50/1.4 more than any other lens. The 35 & 75 are stellar
performers, but I like the look and feel of photographs taken with the
50/1.4 . The 75 produces a similar look but is too big to lug as a semi
pocketable camera and is a little long for a lot of stuff. Instead of
lugging the M6/75, I quite often opt for the Hasselblad/110 instead.

Anyway, folks always bash the 50/1.4, but it is a true Leica look lens. Sweet.

Jim
