It is definitely CLA time. The lubrication has gummed up enough to jam
things at cold temps. I am assuming that the banding problem only appears
when you are photographing in the cold. I seem to recall that you hail from
the True North Strong and Free so I would recommend Gerry at Kindermann
Canada.
