I am really glad i did not get this lens, I was after this lens for a long
time but I am proud to say I kicked the habit, feels great. I will stick to
the 35-70 f4.0 and instead will get the HASSELBLAD 60-120 fe zoom (i know
for a fact this is a better zoom than the leica one)!!

...and like Joseph, I am also disappointed @ leica for not being able to
deliver!! in mid 70's leica was in trouble with technology and out of
desperation, they partnered with Minolta on the R3 and the family. I wonder
if they are @ that point again. they are very small and can not change
either of the mount for a digital system, too small to do it by themselves
and their current partner @ their best came up with the S1 ( a low end Nikon
camera not able to accept all Nikon lenses). how are they going to pull
out!! may be the current batch is truly collectible!!
