Earlier 50mm Summilux performance is average but not spectacular. The current version can be identified by the E60 filter thread. In 35mm lenes, the Summilux-R's lack of internal reflections is nothign short of amazing. Combine this with very fine detail and color rendition and it's performance is first-class. Leica has made several 180mm lenses so maybe you could mention which one you are considering.
