I too have have had a similar experience with the Leica M specialist 
- --- I suspect your experience was not too special. The first item was 
NOT as described. He replaced it with a  beauty, but I would not go 
to that well again. I have to have complete trust. Mail order is 
dicey. If you are stung, you won't go back. Anyone who wants to 
"survive" and thrive MUST under estimate the quality of the gear, and 
be scrupulous in dealing with the "punters"
