The only problem I've had with mine is sometimes the valves stick...and you
get no tempering...so make sure when you start it up, you hear it ticking...
The way to 'jump start' it is to unplug it (the plug is one of my gripes
too...bad design...and where's the power switch?), and it'll un-stick.

Funny enough, this thing isn't much more than a run of the mill mechanical
tempering device!  I was glad someone turned me on to it!

BTW, do you run 'a' flow constantly?  If you don't, it can't maintain
temp...
