Mechanically the lens is very well made. There are click stops in the distance scale which makes the use easier since there is no RF coupling. The vieefinder is also really good. Two thinks to be careful: 1) The meter on the M6 works but almost all the area is included in the meter. Caution with bright or dark items. 2) The lens is not too much flare resistant, especially if you put the sun in the frame. This is the only draw back I noticed (except that this is not a leica lens :-) ) The price-quality ration is perfect and now I am thinking in buying a 15mm. Hope it helps, logan. >From: Papyg@aol.com >Reply-To: leica-users@mejac.palo-alto.ca.us >To: leica-users@mejac.palo-alto.ca.us >Subject: [Leica] Re: Voightlander 25mm Skopar lens >Date: Thu, 15 Feb 2001 12:13:37 EST > >I'm thinking about purchasing this lens.
