Contrary to my original assumption, they are made from a hard plastic, about 1/16 thick or maybe a bit thinner, and grey in color. The backs are completely covered by a self-stick glue and a cover paper ( that gets peeled off).... I have not looked through them as yet, nor applied them to a camera.... Will advise....
