Agreed that the skinny T-E is superb! Look around for a #12575 Leitz hood. It's a snap-on metal type, so it's simple enough to take off and put on a regular lens cap. I got one which looks like new for about $70 at KEH. You might even be able to devise some sort of cap for the hood. Be creative, like the Nikon folk. (Tupperware lids, etc.) :-) Richard
