Subject: [Leica] Rangefinders and accuracy

I posted a link a few days ago in response to a question about rangefinder
accuracy. I've since discovered another source: Erwin Puts has on his site
a very good, brief summary of rangefinder specifications:

    http://www.imx.nl/photosite/leica/overview/rfspecs.html

Another article on the same site addresses the issue of rangefiner accuracy.
I haven't read it in detail, but it presents some, perhaps, surprising
results. I thought it might be of interest to whomever asked the original
question:

    http://www.imx.nl/photosite/leica/technics/rfaccuracy.html

Finally, although not directly related to the rangefinder issue, there is an
interesting FAQ. Erwin addresses a number of issues related to photography
in general and Leicas in particular. I'm not sure I agree with everything,
but it's educational and a good read.

Again, thanks goes to Erwin Puts for making these available.
