    From what I know of HCB, I've met in only once (we were introduced at an
opening), your comments appear to be correct.
    He does have a raging ego. He' s know for his photography but told 60
Minutes, "taking pictures is nothing."
    Well, HCB the painter doesn't cut it. He forgets without photography HCB
is nothing.
    Dave Duncan, however, I've know off and on since 1974. He's not a prima
donna. A great promoter, most definitely.
    In the real version of today's NYT (that's the actual paper to you
online types), they show us 15 pictures. Almost half the original take. I
agree with B.D., I don't think there is a book there, but something like
that never stopped a lot of people. Just look at Shutterbabe.
    Most likely, DDD's comments were meant to placate the great Henri, and
restore the friendship, not to mention give the "art critics" something to
quote.
Hell, I'm probably going to buy the book.
