I always use a strap on my prepositions and participles so that they dangle 
rather than falling and getting knocked out of alignment. However, if one 
were to replace "the whole fuzzy thing" with "it" ... no dangle!  Why's 
that?!   =:-o  English as a first language is hard !! :-)
