I prefered Mark's list: that way, you could make up new genres on the spot!

European Expressionism Fantasy!  Sounds like a cocktail.

How about Hudson River School Impressionism (the impression of 19th century
affluence?)

Narrative Neo-Expressionism (unstructured storytelling?)

Pattern and Decoration Photojournalism (Sunday supplements?)

Or my favorite: Sub-Saharan Surrealism (recent travel stories on the LUG!)
