There are couple of ways you can use the studio strobes without even
worrying about the voltage.

One use a remote.  You can use a Pocket Wizard which will work great (I use
it with all of my gear), plus you don't have those synch cords running
around.

Or a little bit cheaper approach is to use the Wein (sp?)remote units to do
the same thing.

This is sort of OT. But does anybody know if it's safe to use my
Novatron flash gear with the M6 TTL? I contacted Novatron to ask about
the synch voltage on my 1000 w/s pack but they never wrote back. I'd
hate to fry the M6's electronics so I've been using my M4-P, but that's
not always convenient.
