Hi Damian,
Nice shot! Good potential!  But you don't win the cigar on this one!

You really don't need all the throw away space below his elbows, as it would
have made a stronger tight horizontal with the little guy taking a bite out
of his treat, rather than looking down at it and you shooting when his eyes
were closed! :-(

In this kind of situation think wide open eyes, "wonderment"  about the
treat he has and about to take a bite out of.  Rather than looking like you
said, "OK now look at your cup cake."  The child responded .  You went
click!   Toooooooo bad! :-(

No picture here, as there isn't any spontaneity nor sparkle compared to him
taking the first bite, or at least sticking his tongue out for the first
little taste. Or compared to using the wonderful eyes of a child as he's
doing one or the other of the above two.
