SUCKAAAAZ.
Has a single person noticed that the Nikon lens is a Series E 50/1.8 and not
an AIS 1.4? Perhaps the devil is in the details.The Nikon has only marginally
less performance at center wide open and marginally less corner performance at
f/5.6. And this is Nikon's cheapest 50mm ever. If I were Leitz, I would have
been a little embarrassed.
Who here gets as much as 50lp/mm from his system? If you can't clear this
hurdle, all bets are off - since you wouldn't be able to tell the difference in
practice between any of these.
