First and foremost, what formats of film do you use? 35mm Only? What is
your budget? B+W only is a lower cost alternative...color heads alone run a
couple of hundred $$$....

What I have experience with is the Besseler 23C enlarger ( 35mm to 2 1/4 to
3 1/4... $100-250) and the Beseler 45 ( to 4x5 inches $200-500) and larger
with some options) and Omega D2 or comparable ( to 4x5 $150-500).....Stay
away from the Omega B22... it was much inferior to the 23C....

Used prices are noted above....

There is also an older Durst enlarger called the Durst D600 and a D300
model....the 600 was up to 6x6 and the 300 was up to 35mm...I think the
letter in front of the number is D, it could be M... I am not sure.....

These enlargers are all highly recommended...and will do what you
want....up to 11x14 on the baseboard with the correct lens ( 50mm or
40mm....)They are stable, strong and priced right, used.....

Lenses... Nothing wrong with a good ole' Nikkor 50 F2.8,,,, Cost you about
$75 used......Rodenstock Rodagons are in the $75-150 region. as well as the
Computar, Schneider Componon, probably a few more...

With all the home darkrooms being closed, there are real deals on used,
complete darkrooms....
