Likewise, in photography,  the brain is important in that it is the hard drive
on which you store your technical knowledge.

But the technical stuff should be second nature to you. What really matters is
the eye-gut connection - do you SEE the photo before you? Is it there? Then take
it. And don't get hung up on all the technical crap.
