Well, in the first place, they really don't have a whole lot to laugh
about in northern Canada, eh? So I really wouldn't use some Tundra
fishing guide as a judge of fashion...

As to whether a Tilly looks silly...well, it does look pretty
silly...but it's also pretty good at preventing sun stroke and sun burn,
keeping insects off the top of your head, keeping your head cool if you
wet it, putting up with all sorts of abusive treatment, and carrying
money, a passport, or anything else you want to hide in it.....

Sure it looks silly....but then so do most hats on most people, when you
come right down to it....
