The main issue is brim width.  I have one with a narrow brim I wore for soaring, because the wider ones would bump into the glider's canopy.  I have one with a wider brim for general wear.  They make a very wide one that I think looks excessive, but might be useful for gardening.

And yes, a Tilley will be acompanying my Leicas to Belize.  I'll resist putting a little red maple leaf pin on it, though.

I didn't realize there was a Tilley fetish associated with Leica
ownership!  I had been thinking I needed one, and mentioned it as a
Christmas gift idea to relatives who asked.  (Didn't get one, though.)
I noticed that there are several styles available, aside from color
choice.  Any compelling reason to go with one over another aside from
individual fashion tastes?
