I am using a VC head on my D5 enlarger. I do not have the standard condenser head, and anyway I have gotten used to the use of a cold light source, which on this enlarger, precludes the use of filters above the neg. I am currently thinking about dumping the VC head, using regular filters, either above or below the neg.... the VC head is difficult at best to get used to.... Frank Filippone red735i@earthlink.net
