A Carl Zeiss F-(isheye) Distagon 16mm F2.8 off a 35mm Rolleiflex SL. But my point was that they've never been made for a Leica RF camera, where they could be so much smaller and lighter because of the lack of a reflex mirror. Any SLR can be fitted to a Leica M camera with an appropriate adapter but I think we'd all agree that those designed for the camera have the most appeal. best regards, Jem - -----Original Message----- From: Frank Filippone [SMTP:red735i@earthlink.net] Sent: 09 January 2001 20:29 To: leica-users@mejac.palo-alto.ca.us Subject: RE: [Leica] Cosina still at it There are/were fisheye lenses produced by half a dozen companies, including Canon., Nikon, Minolta, Zeiss, Pentax, and who knows how many others....I think Leica too.....???? There are adapters that fit a SLR Lens onto the M cameras, maybe the ltm also, that will allow focusing at infinity using these lenses..... If you want a fisheye on a M Leica, it is pretty easy already..... Frank Filippone red735i@earthlink.net
