Try it at 800 ASA, develop in TMax developer 1+7 for 4.5' @ 20C.

N1600 was my standard film for a number of years from about 1989. TMax developer
worked best for me in the 'pre Xtol days'. Great in European cities as well as
American alleys (oh no, the secret's out:-)). I generally shot it at 1600 ASA
and developed in TMax 1+4 for 4.5', using mainly Leica. Actually, I must say
that when I used it in both Olympus and Leica side by side for a while, I always
preferred the Leica pictures and eventually dumped the Olympus. Some examples
are on my site (the images starting with numbers in about 89 to 93 range); you
might need to check it later since Crosswinds is apparently in the middle of the
hardware upgrade now:
